NOFO

This project musically ranges between different genres as well: it virtually is an area of its own for tinkering with sounds and for track compositions, which due to their stylistic characteristics don’t fit into any other musical projects.
This project originally goes back to a cooperation with other sound nerds in 2000. Back then, it was mainly spontaneous “jam sessions” which I simply recorded.
The result was diverse, relatively different tracks we could hardly associate with a certain stylistic direction…
From rather abstract, cryptic sound structures, broken and distorted beats, so-called “random sounds” to harmonic and melodic sounds and spacey atmospheric sounds everything can be found in various amounts.
That’s the reason for the project name “nofo” as well, which is derived from “non-formatted” in terms of “not to be associated with a stylistic direction, not to be categorized.”
